WILCOX, ELLA WHEELER (1855-1919).
American poet. With a talent for writing the acceptable commonplace, she contributed verses to American magazines at the age of seven. Her output was enormous, and her volumes were extremely popular in Great Britain no less than in the U.S.A.  She died at Shortbeach, Connecticut, Oct. 30, 1919.
